TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

MPX Technical Director Tim Cooper brings a unique set of skills to the MPX team that will enhance the Project Evaluation and Commercialisation of MPX’s portfolio of projects.

Tim holds a degree in Geology from the University of Newcastle and has over 17 years of operational, technical and consulting experience. During his career Tim also evolved his skill set to mine planning focusing on project investment analysis.

Passionate about project economics and technology, Tim is helping drive MPX’s systemisation of project acquisition, development and commercialisation. This ensures MPX remains on the cutting edge of new resource industry technologies while maintaining our focus on delivering project value.

Paul Habermann joins MPX as Exploration Manager with 20 years experience in both exploration and mine geology in Australia and overseas.  Paul worked for Harmony Gold as District Exploration Geologist targeting epithermal and porphyry Cu-Au deposits in Papua New Guinea and BIF-hosted Au deposits in Archean greenstone terrains in South Africa.

Other roles included Geological Superintendent at Hidden Valley Au Mine and Senior Resource Geologist for PNG projects. With a strong prior background in opencut and underground mining at Century Zinc and Ernest Henry Cu-Au Mines in Australia, Paul brings an integrated approach and insight to his exploration decisions with MPX.
