Mining Projects Accelerator, an initiative of Ortus Mining Capital has launched in the Australian market to generate mining exploration projects. MPX has signed on as the foundation client of Orefox, an artificial intelligence and machine learning application that accelerates the identification of drilling targets for miners.
On top of it’s existing potential gold target, the Tansey Project located around 1 hour from the famous Gympie Gold Mining region, MPX will be working with the Orefox technology to identify several other sites to take forward to market under our project generator model.
Speaking on the agreement, MPX Director Grant Wechsel said “We were immediately taken by the potential of the Orefox technology to fast track the exploration process on greenfield or historic gold sites that lacked modern exploration. We have signed on as the foundation client for Orefox which will validate their technology in the market but also importantly drive the discovery of gold projects for MPX that can then be taken forward to development with an accelerated time frame.”
MPX is an initiative of Ortus Mining Capital, headquartered in Singapore and founded by Grant Wechsel, Simon Conn and Dwayne Symonds in 2017. Ortus has a current joint venture mining project in Laos PDR and several other investments in Australian entities aimed at developing gold and copper projects.
